Veneto
Amongst all the Italian regions, all of which are beautiful and unique, the Veneto is one of the most important vine and wine producing areas. It makes 20 percent of all Italian D.O.C. wines. From dawn till dusk, careful hands nurture this treasure to ensure that the region’s 80 thousand hectares of vineyards will engender exceptionally tasty grapes.
The result of this effort is clear in the 8.5 million hectolitres of wine produced each year, of which more than 2 million have been certified as D.O.C. and D.O.C.G. wines: a certification that means uniqueness and excellence.
Another reason for the success of the Veneto’s wines is the passion that is put into each step of its production: from selecting the varietals to the harvest, from ripening to fermentation, ageing and refining methods, right up to bottling and pairing to the typical dishes of the land. Nothing is ever left to chance.
